Sea Star Resort is reminiscent of a tranquil Vietnamese village in an evergreen coconut grove. The resort is proud to have the nicest stretch of Long Beach with natural shade from Malabar almond and palm trees. Thanks to these trees holding the golden sand, Sea Star Resort is the only resort in Phu Quoc that has bungalows right on the beach. We have designed our bungalows with respect for the environment and sensitivity to local culture, a combination designed to give our guests a peaceful and rewarding experience.

Located 2 km south of Duong Dong town, Phu Quoc, Sao Bien (Sea Star Resort) is a quiet and peaceful resort. Not the starfish (which also means sao bien in Vietnamese) but the stars and the sea are selected as the symbolic image for this resort.

Looking from the sea, Sao Bien Resort appears nestled under the shadow of Malabar almond and coconut trees. Newly-come tourists are all impressed with Sao Bien's homely appearance as taking a walk along Bai Truong (Long Beach).

RESTAURANT, BAR & SERVICES:

For Sao Bien is a place to rest, available services just include a small charming restaurant if not mentioning Internet ADSL (a Wi-Fi network under preparation). However, everything enriching the vacation is accessible via the phone.

Guests resting at Sao Bien are multinational and have one thing in common – they all love the quite atmosphere. Since 2004, Sao Bien has received tourists from at least 50 nationalities. The restaurant is also a place tourists spend their time from dawn till dusk.

The "United Nations" bookcase displaying books exchanged or donated by tourists is the most obvious trace of travelers used to stay at Sao Bien. Only two Vietnamese newspapers namely Thoi Bao Kinh te Sai Gon and SaigonTimes are subscribed weekly, the remaining ones are brought by tourists.

ROOM DESCRIPTION:

Sao Bien features 37 bungalows which just differ in location: sea-view, garden-view (the gardens situated just behind the bungalows), and a row of standard rooms above (which actually overlook the gardens). All the rooms are supported with air-conditioner system, water heater, satellite television are ready to welcome businessmen and tourists. Each room is equipped perfectly with luxurious and modern sitting-room will bring you comfort and safety with a well-aired space.
Garden View Room: It's a bungalow-like room 45m from the beach with aircon, cable tv, mini bar, hot shower and private veranda.
Superior Garden View Bungalow: S It's a detached bungalow 50m from the beach, well-placed in the garden, with aircon, cable tv, mini bar, hot shower and private veranda.
Family Villa: It's a semi-detached bungalow with a connecting door to another Family villa (Can be shut 02 ways), with garden view, 30m from the beach, with aircon, cable tv, mini bar, hot shower and veranda. There is 01 double bed in each family villa.
Deluxe Bungalow: It's a garden view bungalow equipped with air-conditioner, cable television, hot water shower, mini bar , private veranda and especially a luxurious wooden floor.
Sea View Bungalow: Sea view bungalow is located 15m from the beach,with aircon, tv, mini bar, hot shower and private veranda, one row behind the Beach villa, smaller in size but it is detached ( stand alone ) so you do not neighbours.
Beach Villa: Beach villa is located on the beach (exclusive in Phu quoc ), with aircon,cable tv, mini bar, hot shower and private veranda, semi-detached with another beach villa, larger than the Sea view bungalow, excellent view of the sea and sunset.
